Vicky Sycip Herrera '68 and Susie McElhaney '82 collected books for public elementary schools in Tagaytay.

The schools needed books written in English! Schools all over the Philippines are embarking on a program to teach English.

The schools have set aside time in the day for students to read books in English. However, there are few English language books available.

The goal was to build a collection of books for each school. Due to alumni generosity, the book drive collected 4,000 books!
